Day 126 – 05 December 2009: On the Road, still, again...

It’s another extremely uncomfortable night, as we are still in the traffic jam. As of 7am, we have been on the truck, excluding breaks, for 24 hours. The traffic jam continues ever onwards, even as we pass roadworks we had suspected of causing the traffic jam. To make matters worse, I have a bad stomach.

A rumour goes around that we only have 30km of tailback left to go through, but this turns out to be another 3^rd, 4^th, or 5^th hand myth.

Finally, after 36 hours and another frustrating jam, we arrive at Chengdu, capital of the Sichuan Province and home of the main panda zoo of China.
